My name is Christopher Bird and I am a Ph.D student at the University of Southampton studying the movement and feeding behaviours of sharks.
I started Shark Devocean as a means of sharing my thoughts and experiences on my passion for shark research. I hope you find the content informative and interesting.

This is really impressive, I look forward to more news and stunning photos.
I am researching beliefs and their effects upon civilization, particularly humans and animals. The current plan is for this and other areas to be translated into a movie. We are in the initial stages.
One of the interests is the killing of elephants animals for use in superstition, magic, medical cures, etc. leading not only to the destruction and possible extinction of these animals, but cause added human suffering due to their unsupported and even harmful use.
Is there a representative willing to be interviewed (online, email, in-person, etc,) to assist in this project?
Can you direct me to resources that might aid in this research?
Also, do you know of individuals, groups, and networks willing to possibly be interviewed on these subjects?
Thank you for your work. It is greatly appreciated.
Best regards,
Mike

Interesting, there is also a Chris Bird who works out of my lab but he focuses on limpets in the Hawaiian Archipelago.
